It was such a pleasure to be Amy and Daniel’s Yorkshire Dales Wedding photographer back last year. It’s such a beautiful part of the world and Falcon Manor is a gorgeous venue. This wedding was just the happiest and loveliest day. Amy and Daniel giggled non-stop making it impossible not to be swept up in all the joy.

Amy got ready at the lovely Hipping Hall in Cowan Bridge. Her flower girl totally stole the show by being amazingly cute and enjoying every minute of her pampering. Amy looked absolutely stunning in Kenneth Winston and her Charlotte Mills shoes with printed poem. Love those!

The ceremony took place at the Holy Ascension Church in Settle, a beautiful church in the middle of the town that can’t be missed. The Settle flower pot festival was in full swing so flower people could be found everywhere. Although I think the sheep were my favourite!

Falcon Manor Wedding Photographer

After the ceremony, it was onto Falcon Manor for the rest of the celebrations. This country house hotel is a fabulous venue. Beautiful gardens with plenty of outdoor space and a lovely reception room complete with huge ostrich feather lampshades. There are lots of details throughout the hotel that give this venue plenty of unique character. In August the lavender was in full bloom and made a perfect backdrop for portraits. Amy loves lavender and Daniel says he can tell if she’s had a tough day because as soon as he walks through the door he is assaulted by the lavender smell! That comment made photos in front of the lavender border a must!

The giggles carried on into the evening with one of those discos where everyone danced all night long. Amy and Dan’s mums really going for it on the dance floor was one of my favourite shots! This wedding was a real joy and I hope Amy and Dan keep making each other laugh for many years to come. Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to visiting the Yorkshire Dales again soon.
