Cathy and Alan had a very pretty pink and gold wedding at the Yellow Broom restaurant in Cheshire. Cathy has been waiting to become Mrs. Wilson for quite some time and even on the day I think there were moments when she was sure it wasn’t going to happen! It all came together beautifully in the end and the sweet ceremony was followed by a delicious Yellow Broom meal and some superb dancing.
Cathy looked absolutely stunning in an elegant and understated La Sposa dress. The flowers deserve a special mention as they were so amazing. Nova at Nova Christy Weddings did an amazing job both with the bouquet and with all the flowers that adorned the Yellow Broom. One of the highlights of the day though was Alan and Cathy dancing the foxtrot just as Cathy’s grandparents would have done. The look on Cathy’s face was enough to reward Alan for all his hard work in learning the steps!
Despite a few hiccups ( the registrar had the wrong time booked in, eeek!) it was a fantastic day filled with love and laughter. I wish Cathy and Alan all the best for a fantastic future together and hope they will be foxtrotting for many years to come.
