Wishaw Country Sports Wedding

Lauren and Steven were married at St. Anne’s Church which is near their home in Burntwood. It may have been raining but that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits while this gorgeous couple tied the knot. It was then onto Sutton Coldfield for a Wishaw Country Sports wedding reception. There the rain stopped allowing everyone to celebrate in style.

I caught up with Lauren at her Mum’s house in Burntwood where she and her bridesmaids made their preparations. Everything was very relaxed and going according to plan. Lauren’s bridesmaids had decorated her room with rose gold balloons and it all looked beautiful. Lauren looked absolutely stunning in her Made With Love dress and Jenny Packham shoes.

The ceremony was totally sweet. Lauren and Steven were completely in their own little bubble as they spoke their vows quietly to each other. The candle lighting part of the service was beautiful. It doesn’t always happen but is a lovely touch I think. The vicar was then completely fabulous and allowed us to get all the group shots done indoors. I actually think they look lovely at the front of the church with the altar in the background.

We arrived at Wishaw Country Sports as the rain cleared up and the party got started. I was able to get some portraits of Lauren and Steven while they enjoyed some quiet moments in the gardens. I loved Lauren’s long veil with her hair down which gave her a really naturally beautiful look. Meanwhile, guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the barn.

The beautifully restored barn has a rustic feel and Lauren kept that theme going with chunky wood slices and plain white and green florals for centerpieces. The meal flowed effortlessly into the evening with endless dancing. Steven and Lauren then headed off on the most amazing honeymoon to Bali and after a week were joined by their best friends. I thought that was so lovely and definitely the best of both worlds. I know they all had an amazing time and I hope their marriage continues to be just as amazing for always x
