Warborne Farm Wedding

Last summer in the heat of early August I had the absolute honour of photographing Charlotte and Sarah’s Warborne Farm Wedding. It was the most epic day filled with love, laughter and a lot of dancing! After the most beautiful outdoor ceremony, everyone wandered into the farm courtyard to relax on straw bales and play games of beer pong and table tennis. The food was glorious, the wine flowed and the party went on into the night. Such an amazing day for a truly special couple.

Warborne Farm Wedding

Drive through the beautiful New Forest and arrive at this hidden gem of a farm with luxury barn accommodation. For weddings, you can take over the whole farm for the weekend and with five apartments in the barns sleeping 40 people in total as well as camping on site there’s no need to worry about getting home. Charlotte and Sarah did just that with each bride getting ready in a different barn with her family and maids. I spent the morning hopping between barns as everyone busied about setting up the outdoor ceremony and putting the finishing touches to the open barn for the reception.

It’s a beautiful setting and Sarah and Charlotte were both attracted to all the little features that make these barns unique. There are endless photo opportunities whatever the weather including the beautiful orchard where we shot at sunset. The farm also has amazing eco credentials being both organic and carbon neutral or as they like to call it sustainably exploiting their natural resources!

An Outdoor Ceremony

Charlotte and Sarah had the most gorgeous outdoor ceremony on the lawn. Charlotte’s stepdad built the most amazing arbour and the ceremony was conducted by an old friend. Charlotte knew beforehand that she would be the emotional one and she wasn’t wrong! Both girls looked stunning in subtly different dresses that suited them both perfectly. Even their bouquets were similar but different.

The Wedding Breakfast

The caterers were Red Cherry Catering and I can vouch for the fact that the food was superb. As was the cake that was made by Charlotte’s Mum. It came with its own menu as each layer had a different flavour. Completely delicious and very memorable!

An Awesome Wedding Band

The party started with some dancing while others played beer pong and table tennis as the sun went down. But The Flyaways soon had everyone on the dancefloor and kept them dancing all night. The pinata looked like it was going to last all night as well until Sarah’s brother took over and got the job done. After several encores, it was time for the Flyaways to say goodnight but the party wasn’t over as they then went onto a silent disco. I hadn’t been to one of these before but it was brilliant fun. I just love Sarah’s Mum’s face!

An absolutely amazing day and I loved every minute. Warborne Farm is gorgeous and well worth looking at for a wedding weekend. Charlotte and Sarah are such a ‘meant to be’ couple and it was a day filled with such honest love. I wish them the most brilliant future together.
