Tim and Nikki had the most pretty and stylish little wedding at the gorgeous Belle Epoque in Knutsford. They wanted to keep their celebration small and personal so they invited just their closest family and friends and ate together around one big table. It was a beautifully heartfelt celebration.
The Belle Epoque
Although the Belle Epoque can accommodate bigger weddings it was perfect for Tim and Nikki’s smaller gathering. The rooms are small enough to feel cosy and welcoming but still beautifully grand with all the dark wood panelling and bold flower arrangements.
Tim and his brothers waited more or less patiently for Nikki to arrive. There was some Scotch consumed at the bar but I’m sure only as a nod to Tim’s heritage! Nikki’s younger brother did an amazing job of organising everyone with a seating chart as well as reading at the ceremony. Nikki arrived with her parents looking completely amazing in her Justin Alexander gown.
After a sweet and simple ceremony, there was time for canapes and champagne in the sunshine. The garden at the Belle Epoque is looking lovely this year and we were able to get all the family groups and some portraits done there. Later on, as the sun got lower I was able to whisk Nikki and Tim off for 10 minutes to get some photos outside on the street. We wanted to stay close by but it felt important to have some portraits that showed more of the venue and its location.
The wedding breakfast was served as everyone sat around one big table. This felt so natural and sincere. Just a big family dinner to celebrate a wonderful couple tying the knot. It was a day filled with love and laughter and I’m sure they have much more to come.
