Here it is, my round-up from this gorgeous Styal Lodge winter wedding. Well, it was March so technically I guess it was spring but seeing as the weather decided to alternate between bright, crisp sunshine and freezing blizzard I’m calling it winter! Sarah and Chris had the most wonderful day with a beautiful service at their family church in Altrincham and then a snowy celebration at Styal Lodge.
The ceremony took place at Altrincham Baptist Church where Sarah’s parents were married. Sarah’s grandfathers gave beautiful heartfelt readings and the service was lovely and personal. The church maybe modern and not so traditionally beautiful but the light was wonderful and the stairs in the entryway made for a perfect confetti storm exit.
When I was editing this wedding I was reminded that Sarah and Chris are not only in love but are totally best friends. I loved the moments at the end of the ceremony when they whispered quietly while their witnesses signed the register. Like they’d really missed each other for that one night they were apart! All through the day they quite often had their heads together giggling about something. They have absolutely no idea how cute they are!
It was an absolute pleasure to work again with David from I Do Campers. Sarah was thrilled with her VW camper van and would really have liked to keep it! Styal Lodge always provides a wonderful service and a special mention to Pink Pepper Catering who had everything running like clockwork and served the most delicious food.
Always a pleasure to work with these wonderful suppliers:
