Oh Me Oh My Liverpool Wedding Photographer

I’ve been looking forward to sharing this gorgeous November wedding at the Town Hall and Oh Me Oh My Liverpool. It was a stunning day with a real old world glamour theme throughout.

Jen and her girls got ready at an apartment over in Upper Parliament Street. Despite the very spooky hallways in the old building the apartment itself was great and they had a lovely morning of hair, makeup and champagne. Jen went for a simple cowl neck gown from Emma Louise Bridal in Bolton. She teamed it with gold sandals, dramatic red lips and a beautiful art deco hair clip found by her sister. With the rich, dark flowers the look was really glamorous and perfect for the city setting.

With Jen being from Manchester and Sam from the Wirral they chose Liverpool as a ‘neutral’ location. The ceremony took place at the Town Hall which is an amazing building with ornate high ceilings and a fabulous staircase. It was then just a short walk down to Oh Me Oh My with its beautiful reception space and roof garden with a view of the Liver building.

Jen and Sam walked down to their reception alone ahead of their guests. The city was just beginning to light up for the night and we could see the fairground down at the docks. It all looked amazing. We were able to head straight up to the roof terrace, one of the highlights of Oh Me oh My, for a fantastic view of the Liver building and the city lights. Jen and Sam got to enjoy a few quiet moments together before heading back downstairs for their reception.

The New Power Soul Club who I have seen before at Oh Me Oh My were again absolutely fantastic and the dance floor was packed for the whole night. Everyone had a fabulous night but I particularly loved seeing Sam dance with his siblings and Jen’s Mum being whirled around the dance floor by Jen’s cousins. A fantastic wedding that finished off my 2017 season and a wonderful high note to end the year. 2018 you have a lot to live up to!
