I thought I’d finally share this gorgeous autumn wedding at Delamere Manor. Tamara and John were married at St. Mary & All Saints in Great Budworth with their dogs in attendance! Then we returned to the amazing Delamere Manor in Cheshire for a beautiful reception.
Delamere Manor Wedding Venue
Delamere Manor is a truly luxurious wedding venue set in over 100 acres of rolling Cheshire countryside. It was once the home of the Wilbraham family before being owned by the musician and songwriter Gary Barlow. Now an award-winning wedding venue it exudes luxury. Wedding breakfasts are held in the starlit Courtyard space. This is a glass-fronted room with a retractable roof so perfect for weddings all year round.
Delamere Manor is an exclusive wedding venue with accommodation meaning you can take over the whole house for a couple of nights. This is exactly what Tamara and John did, staying there with their families and even the dogs came too. There is a beauty room downstairs perfect for bridal preparations and Gary Barlow’s old recording studio is now a nightclub where you can party on into the night. It’s a stunning venue and the staff are amazing. Dale even came to the church to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Great Budworth Church Wedding
Tamara spent the morning getting ready at Delamere Manor with her parents and bridesmaids. The dogs helped out with tidying up in the kitchen while Tamara had her makeup and hair done. She wore the most amazing Pronovias dress with beautiful long sheer sleeves and Laboutin shoes. Then it was a short ride in the car to the village of Great Budworth and the beautiful church there. I loved that the dogs got to come to the church ceremony too.
Delamere Manor Wedding Photography
Back at Delamere Manor Tamara and John had time to take a golf cart into the grounds for some photos. The summer house is particularly pretty in the autumn with the red vines on it. Then of course there is the jetty by the lake which is always picturesque. You can have an outdoor ceremony in either of these locations if the weather allows. Tamara and John headed back to the Courtyard for their wedding breakfast. This really is the most lovely space. Let’s face it you can never really have too many fairy lights! Tables were named after locations including the beautiful Beeston Castle.
They started their evening in the Courtyard with cake cutting and first dance before heading to the nightclub to party into the night. Tamara opted to change out of her long dress and into a short lace dress so she could really dance. John had no such trouble getting stuck into the dancing just as he was! It was a fantastic day and an honour to celebrate with this lovely couple and their families.
Delamere Manor was awarded ‘most romantic wedding venue in the UK’ in the English Wedding Awards and it truly is a superb romantic venue. It gets booked up years in advance so do go and visit as soon as you can to see if this romantic venue is perfect for you.
