Sonya and Daniel gathered their friends and family from all over the world for a weekend long celebration of their marriage at Axnoller House in Dorset. Now that we sit here in a cold and wet December it’s hard to remember just how hot it was that weekend we made it into the World Cup semi-finals. Let me take you back to that Saturday in July and share this beautiful outdoor wedding complete with handmade lace, hundreds of paper lanterns and the coolest couple ever.

Eleanor and Toby had a super stylish wedding at the Yellow Broom in Cheshire. They were able to include their favourite four-footed friends to add even more personality to their day and make their photographer extra happy! What do dogs think of weddings I wonder?

A beautiful church service followed by a reception at the magnificent Keele Hall. Abbie chose pastel colours for her flowers and maids with the two super cute flower girls all in white.

Alison and Chris wanted a relaxed family get together for their springtime Cheshire wedding. They chose the Roebuck Inn Mobberley for all its quirky details and pretty outdoor ceremony space complete with potting shed and flock of white doves. They kept it simple with a civil ceremony in the marquee followed by drinks in the garden and then a meal in the main pub space.

February can be a dreary month but mine was totally brightened by Rebecca and Andy’s Valentine-themed Crewe Hall wedding. Red can be a difficult look to pull off for a wedding but this totally worked with the time of year, the grand venue and the way Becca kept everything else understated. It was my first wedding of 2018 and a fabulous way to start the year.

Rachel and Adrian were married in a super sweet and simple ceremony at the Old Vicarage Hotel in Worfield near their home in Bridgnorth. It was a beautiful family occasion and as I have photographed the weddings of Rachel’s sister and her best friend Sam it really felt to me like a family reunion.

It’s 2017 roundup time as I wave goodbye to another awesome year filled with some absolutely gorgeous weddings that still surprise me in how unique they all are. My business continues to grow steadily and while sometimes I wish it would grow faster that steady pace allows me to continue to enjoy what I do and still have a life. As my children get older and need less from me I find myself wanting to shoot more and more and I can’t get enough weddings. So bring it on 2018!

Finally, I feel like its the right time to share this gorgeous wedding! Last December Lou and Luca had the most beautiful, sparkly wedding at the Oaktree of Peover. It was between Christmas and New Year and captured all the glitter and celebration of the season. Somehow when it got to January and the dullness of February it didn’t seem right to go back to Christmas decorations. So I have waited almost a year but now is the perfect time for you to fall in love with this beautiful winter wedding.
