Amanda and Richard had a beautifully intimate wedding ceremony followed by an awesome party with all their family and friends. It was a super day and they planned the weather perfectly. Let me share with you some Buddileigh Farm wedding photography.
I started the day with Amanda and her maids in the cottages at Buddileigh Farm. The holiday cottage here is gorgeous and I will be recommending it to anyone who wants to stay nearby. I loved all the decoration and elegant furniture. I’m quite fond of bookcase wallpaper too!
Crewe Town Hall Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the Mayor’s reception room at Crewe Municipal buildings. This is a fabulous room in a grand old building with decorative plasterwork and huge fireplaces. Amanda and Richard kept it simple with just their wedding party and immediate family in attendance. It was a beautiful, sincere service and while it poured with rain outside they had the biggest smiles for each other.
As soon as it was time to leave the sun started to appear and Amanda ‘s transport plan swung into action! The double-decker bus that she arrived in took her family off to pick up the rest of the guests from nearby hotels. Meanwhile, the newly married couple were driven to their reception in the cutest vintage Morris Traveller, Amanda’s dream car. They arrived ahead of their guests allowing plenty of time for photos and a moment to relax. Amanda and Richard love their cats so it was only fitting that the farm cat followed us the whole time!
Buddileigh Farm Wedding Photography
This venue in Betley is perfect for a summer marquee wedding. For instance, it has a fabulous outdoor bar, a cosy stable room, a pretty lake and donkeys! What more could you wish for! Amanda’s attention to detail with the planning made it all extra special. Richard proposed over a game of Kerplunk so a giant Kerplunk game was a must! There was also croquet (to which no one ever seems to know the rules!) and a fabulous homemade Guess Who with pictures of all their guests.
The speeches were hilarious and the dessert was interrupted by the Undercover Singers who were just fabulous. They had everyone on their feet and uncovered a few surprise soloists in amongst the guests! The evening flowed onwards to a beautiful sunset, followed by drinks around the fire pit and fish and chips that I can assure you were delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my day at this wedding and I hope Richard and Amanda look back on these memories and keep smiling for many games to come.
