A beautiful village pub wedding in Cheshire where music was the main focus of the day. Ellie and Paul had a wedding blessing service at St. Wilfred’s church in Mobberley and were then accompanied by a walking band through the village to the Roebuck Inn where they held their reception.

A Mobberley Village Wedding
Ellie and Paul actually had two weddings. This was their second celebration with the other half of the family that couldn’t be at the first. They started with a wedding blessing at St. Wilfred’s church in the village. Paul walked over from the nearby Church Inn while Ellie arrived in her Dad’s Landrover. After a lovely service guests were given balloons and we all walked through the village accompanied by The Walking Heads band. It was a real festival feel as we passed the cricket club and everyone cheered their congratulations.

Weddings at The Roebuck Inn Mobberley
It was a beautiful day to enjoy the walk and then a drinks reception in the garden at The Roebuck Inn. I love this quirky pub with its rustic rooms and bistro feel. Everywhere you look there are interesting decorations like wine glass chandeliers and potting shed knick-knacks. After a delicious meal and some heartfelt speeches, the party continued in the garden marquee. The Tamala Boys took over the entertainment with their Motown music and they had everyone dancing long into the night.

A wonderfully, musical celebration for this gorgeous couple who deserve every bit of happiness.
