This wedding took place on a gorgeously sunny day in July last year. It is a pleasure to share it now in these colder months! The band played outside, guests sat on straw bales and the party went on into the warm summer evening.
Mike and Anneka were married at St. John’s Church in Sandbach. You will adore Anneka’s short dress and Rachel Simpson shoes! These two were beyond happy to tie the knot and couldn’t contain the biggest grins and even a bit of jumping up and down when they became husband wife.
After the ceremony we headed to a friends field where Mike, Anneka and lots of their friends and family had been decorating the Yurt tents for a gorgeous sunny celebration. This wedding had so many gorgeous details with a real summer festival feel. Mike and Anneka have done a lot of travelling together and there was a travel theme throughout with signposts and tables named after their favourite places. Guests sat on straw bales for the outdoor speeches and children played on the vintage tractor. After a delicious hog roast there was stilts, ball games and outdoor dancing. Later with the Yurts lit by lots of twinkling lights Anneka and Mike danced the night away. These guys have an amazing close knit group of friends and it was a joy to see them there to support and celebrate this couple. I wish Anneka and Mike some very happy travels in the future together. x
