Lloyd and Lydia – ICA Wedding Photography – London

Weddings

Lloyd and Lydia’s wedding was very special to me in lots of ways, not least of all because as well as clients they are also great friends. I loved every minute of the day from meeting Lydia over breakfast to chilling out in the chic bar area late at night. Lloyd and Lydia decided on a city wedding and fell in love with the Institute of Contemporary Arts. With its gorgeous high ceilings, huge windows and elegant white interiors it is a beautiful setting for a romantic, stylish wedding. (Also light like that makes your photographer very happy :-)) I met Lydia and the rest of the bridal party at the beautiful Haymarket Hotel. Lydia had two amazing bridesmaids, Andrea (Andrea Elsby – Bridal Hair and Make-up) who made everyone look beautiful and then still managed to look gorgeous herself, and Marie who made the awesome cake. She also had four super cute flower girls and a very smart page boy. Lloyd and his groomsmen arrived at the hotel in plenty of time for some shots before we headed off to the ICA. Lydia arrived in a black London cab (what else?) and had the biggest smile ever as she climbed the stairs towards her waiting groom. The ceremony was perfect and the rain held off for a while to allow the new Mr and Mrs Price to meet their guests outside and get some photos before the wedding breakfast. The celebrations then went on into the night with some superb entertainment from Paul Martyn who I can’t recommend highly enough. He play sax, sings and DJ’s often all in the same song, super talented!

With only a few more months to go until the birth of their first baby Lloyd and Lydia decided to keep their wedding simple and intimate. They chose to share their day with their closest family and friends and the atmosphere was especially warm and caring. It was such a pleasure to meet so many lovely people who had come together to celebrate a wonderful couple. I’d like to thank them so much for choosing me as their wedding photographer and wish them all the best love and luck with their exciting future x

Enjoy my favourite moments from an amazing day and if you haven’t seen it you can catch Lloyd and Lydia’s engagement session here.
